As a Store Manager in Training You Will:
Manage and promote all aspects of the business - buying, selling, pricing, merchandising, training, and eventually managing the store staff – in order to meet and exceed the store’s sales and financial goals. In addition, the Manager in training will promote the highest level of customer service, be a problem solver and continually strive for innovative solutions for bettering the business.

Learn to take on the following Store Manager Responsibilities:

• Resolves customer complaints regarding sales and service.

• Plans and directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop staff on sales and service programs.

• Monitors sales and inventory levels and adjusts pricing Matrices and clearance schedules to maximize profitability

• Reviews operational records and reports to project sales and determine staffing levels

• Monitors customer preference and industry and seasonal trends to determine buying needs to maximize profitability

• Manages inventory levels and floor allocations to maximize sales

• Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have strong leadership, organizational, multi-tasking, problem solving, and time management skills

• Must have 2+ years customer service experience

• Must have prior supervisory experience

• High school diploma (some college preferred)

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office / Basic computer knowledge

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours a day

• Lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance

• Bending, rotating, and reaching conducive to a retail environment and to receiving, pricing, and stocking merchandise

• Able to operate a computerized terminal

This is a full time position. Must be available nights and weekends. Must be available to work a minimum of four weekend days a month and at least 1 night per week.
