Group Management Services (GMS) is seeking to hire a full time Benefits Account Specialist in the Richfield, OH office.

SUMMARY:

The Benefits Account Specialist will serve as the primary contact for GMS clients to provide daily customer service and assistance via telephone and email.  This position requires heavy use of systems and attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment with critical deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Confer with customers by telephone and email in order to provide information about benefits and services, to add or cancel services, or to obtain details of complaints   
• Process enrollments and terminations for clients' policies on internal system as well as vendor websites
• Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as refunding money and adjusting invoices
• Keep record of customer interactions by recording details of inquiry, complaints and comments as well as action taken in GMS's CRM system
• Load plan details and rates in HRP, WLT and additional vendor sites as appropriate
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management

• Education/Experience - Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years customer service-related or account management experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience in health insurance or customer service preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses - Current Ohio License in Life and Health Insurance is required - or must be obtained within 90 days of employment in position (class paid for by GMS)
