Group Management Services is seeking to hire a full time New Client Coordinator on our Payroll team to service the Charlotte market.


SUMMARY:

Coordinate the gathering of documentation from new clients for proper set up of payroll and taxes.  Meet with new clients to train on web payroll processing and address specific payroll concerns prior to the first payroll run.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, and facilitate the new client setup process and related appointments
• Collection of tax information (Federal ID, State ID, SUTA ID & Rate, prior payments) and employee set up information
• Responsible for data entry and distribution of setup information
• Trains clients on GMS Web Payroll and procedures/policies
• Communicates with clients on a regular basis during setup period regarding pending items to keep within setup timeline
• Transitions new clients into our internal payroll/tax system and integrate them into GMS procedures
• Reviews and addresses specific payroll concerns based on client need

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• 2 years experience in data entry, customer service, problem resolution; or equivalent combination
• Prior payroll experience preferred
