Group Management Services is seeking to hire a full time Workers' Compensation Claims Intake Specialist based out of the headquarters in Richfield, OH.

What does this position entail?

This position would intake, examine, investigate, and assist with management of claims and files with the Workers' Compensation Team and perform data entry tasks efficiently and timely.  Some additional duties and responsibilities include:

• Collect data for intake process, ensure all information is documented correctly.
• Review all information submitted by the client including First Reports of Injury, witness statements, and medical reports.
• Answer and screen inquiry calls from clients, medical facilities, vendors, and injured workers.
• Determine obstacles and strategies which include additional questions and/or referral for case management.
• Manage WC Claims group email account and distribute to corresponding specialists and/or manager.
• Assist Next Level Administrators as required with processing and managing out of state claims.
• Produce Loss Run information for clients and account managers.
• Complete initial set up of Self Insured claims and files in the CMS (Claims Management System).
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

What are the qualifications required for this position?

• Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous Workers' Compensation Claims Management and knowledge of medical terminology used in industrial cases preferred.
• Must be able to travel occasionally; Overnight stays may be necessary.
