Handling benefit administration matters related to COBRA, child support and various benefit areas.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Confer with COBRA participants by phone in order to provide information about benefits and services, to add or cancel services, or to obtain details of complaints/concerns, pricing (refunds and adjustments in invoicing).
- COBRA credits for self insured plans through HRP and scanning of all eligibility and payment materials.
- Process enrollments and terminations for employees electing COBRA on internal systems and vendor websites updated.
- Administer child support orders related to creation, scanning, mailing and execution of benefit support orders. Scan green cards and file COBRA notices in client folders.
- Age-off reports for dependent children at age 26 and Medicare 65+ and notices sent for TPA and PEO employees and execution to individual market benefit sales rep for follow-up.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Education - High school diploma or equivalency diploma (GED) is required
- Experience - 1-2 years related experience preferred
- Other - Must be willing to travel occasionally
