Front Desk Receptionist

Spectrum Orthopaedics is currently seeking a full time Front Desk Receptionist for their North Canton, Ohio location. This position provides clerical support for this clinic. Responsibilities include interaction with patients, visitors, doctor’s offices, managed care and insurance companies in person and/or over the telephone. The position also involves computer use to help facilitate operations, as well as general office support work.

Schedule:
Mon,. Wed, Thur: 10:30-7
Tues & Fri: 8:30-5

Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform computer work and creates and maintains patient records.
Schedules and/or coordinates patient appointment visits.
Prepare billing information.
Monitors and promotes a positive customer service image by representing SOI a positive, courteous and professional manner.
Perform other tasks that are assigned by the therapist, rehab manager, or manager/director overseeing the facility.

Requirements:
Assist therapy team with patients
Professional oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and customer service skills.
At least one year experience in a health care facility environment and with terminology.
Basic computer knowledge and skills including data entry, internet, Microsoft Excel and Word.
Team building skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a physical therapy clinic is a plus
Ability to type 30 WPM
