Certified Hand Therapist CHT OT

Spectrum Orthopaedics is currently seeking a full time Certified Hand Therapist for an outpatient services setting in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Key elements of the position will involve evaluation, treatment, supervision, documentation and training. The position is key in the accomplishment of organizational objectives. This position may require travel within a regional area of Ohio and is classified as an exempt position. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides and directs Occupational Therapy services to patients including: assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation.
Functions under physicians’ orders and adheres to applicable principles and practices of occupational therapy, Spectrum policies/procedures, and state regulations.
Coordinates treatment plan with patient, family, and other team members as appropriate.
Documents results of patient’s assessment, treatment, follow-up and termination of services.

Requirements:
College degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Occupational Therapist.
Certified Hand Therapist.
License to practice occupational therapy within the state.
Must have 2 years outpatient orthopaedic experience.
Must have experience with splinting.
Must have experience with new-wound and surgical care.
Must have flexible schedule.
