Brick Mason

We are looking for Brick Masons with at least 1 year of masonry in their background, who is interested in learning historic masonry restoration techniques and mortars, and is interested in working on slate/tile roofs, and other historic restoration crafts. Must be open to travel at times, and being cross trained. Nothing is more important than good work ethic, reliability, being responsible, and being open to learning new things. We can't teach those things, but we can teach and perfect our techniques with the right candidate.

Core Requirements:

• 1 year experience in masonry repair
• Valid Driver's License that can be covered on our company insurance (4 points or less, no speed violations that exceed 15 mph over the speed limit, no DUI in last 6 years)
• Ability to carry at least 50 lbs. regularly
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Open to out of town jobs

Preferred traits:

• 1 year experience with slate or tile roofing
• 1 year experience with metal roofing
• 1 year experience with plaster repair
• 1 year experience with trim carpentry
