Luigi’s Olde World Market is seeking both full-time and part-time Retail Food Associates to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio! We are a family owned authentic Italian Deli with Olde World recipes handed down from generation to generation. We offer a full-service gourmet deli, fine meat shop, catering, as well as a retail grocery store.

Responsibilities of the Retail Food Associate:

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers both in store and over the phone; suggest and recommend items to customers
• Operate POS system for routine purchasing transactions and processing returns and discounts
• Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat and deli items

· Stock beverage coolers and shelves

· Maintain a clean and sanitary work space and follow all safety procedures

· Work at catering events as needed, including but not limited to preparing event spaces, loading and unloading of catering vehicles with food and supplies, preparing and serving food and drinks, attending to all guest needs, and breaking down and cleaning of equipment following the event

Qualifications:

• Food industry and food prep experience
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work weekends

Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm and Sundays, 9am to 5pm.
