Banquet Event Server:

The Banquet Server is responsible primarily for assisting in serving, set-up and clean up of all banquet functions. This is a fast paced position that will involve constant customer interaction. Schedule flexibility is necessary.  The banquet server will serve food and beverage to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
-Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
-Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, and reach 
  overhead or under to retrieve stock
-Basic English language writing skills necessary for completion of requisitions, balance sheets and
  vouchers
-Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of food on the menu for the specific event.
-Ability to balance large trays weighing up to 30 lbs through a crowded room of a continuous basis
  throughout shift.
-Organization and coordinating skills, the ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities and changes
  with  professionalism
-Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member


Applicant Must:
-Be able to work all shifts and flexible schedules including weekends and Holidays
-Be able to standing/walking/bending throughout the shift and the ability to lift 30 pounds
-Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
 -Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate Liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guest.
-Be able to work a flexible schedule
-Be able to work days, weekends and holidays
