Mechanic
Appalachian Oilfield Services has an opening for a full time Mechanic. The Mechanic will repair and maintain class 8 water, vacuum, roll-off and dump trucks, pickup and box trucks, cleaning and other oilfield equipment.

Requirements:
• High school diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); trade/ specialized training
• 5+ years mechanic experience preferred
• 3+ years experience managing mechanics preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• CDL license preferred
Responsibilities:
• Deliver most efficient and cost effective solutions for individual repairs, maximize safety and uptime
• Maintain R&M records in accordance with regulations and AOS policy
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to all Company equipment and rented/leased equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts
• Inspect, diagnose and repairs vehicles upon malfunction or breakdown
• Tune up engine to maintain combustion control standards
• Adjust equipment and vehicles to standards set by state DOT for motor vehicle inspections
• Balance wheels to minimize wear on tires and rotate wheels at prescribed mileage intervals
• Fuel, oil and grease motor vehicles; change filters
• Maintain records of vehicle maintenance and parts usage as well as order repair parts from stores or designated outside suppliers
• Notify supervisor and Safety Manager of potentially dangerous equipment noted and corrective action taken
