Connect Housing Blocks is currently searching for a full-time Project Manager to join their team in Columbus, Ohio.  We are revolutionizing the housing industry, manufacturing multi-story, prefabricated modular apartment housing in Columbus, Ohio, by providing high-quality affordable housing. The Project Manager at Connect Housing Blocks is responsible for planning, forecasting, and scheduling production projects. This role works closely with Production Managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• In office

The right candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience managing projects in a manufacturing and/or construction environment
• PMP preferred
• Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with vendors, management, co-workers in English
• Ability to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication to practical situations

Our Project Manager will:

• Collaborate with Production Managers to develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Track project performance and report on key metrics to stakeholders
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and status reports
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management
• Ensure projects comply with safety and quality standards
• Facilitate communication between departments to resolve any project-related issues
• Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance project efficiency
