Position Overview
Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina is looking for a Laundry Attendant to join our enthusiastic team. You will assist the laundry department with washing, drying, sorting, folding, transporting, and distribution of all linens per BMC standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check and replace chemicals when needed
• Dispose of empty containers properly
• Wash and dry all guest room linens
• Process stained linen neatly and according to guidelines
• Inspect linens visually
• Report all damages, hazards and defective equipment timely
• Stock linens for distributions
• Upkeep laundry room at all times to ensure cleanliness and organization
• Operate ironer and tower folder
• Weigh all bins of linen prior to leaving laundry area
• Log all proper information on log sheets
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-2 years housekeeping experience preferred
