The Pink Shell Beach Resort is now hiring a full time Income Auditor! The Income Auditor is responsible for balancing the revenue and expense transactions, which occurred during the day at the Resort.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists with preparation and entry of daily revenue journal to include all items on the Income audit checklist
• Consolidates documentation for daily routing envelopes
• Notifies management of any issues or violations
• Verifies and corrects tips reports for Food and Beverage outlets
• Assists customers with billing disputes and copies of folios as needed
• Assists in all phases of inventories and month-end reports
• Research and resolve all credit card chargebacks and daily credit card discrepancies
• Provides full support to the Night Auditors and acts as stand-in should the need arise
• Assumes responsibility for researching “problem accounts”
• Completes all tax exempt adjustments and ensures all necessary information is accounted for
• Reports cash over/short notifications to proper channels in accordance to policy
• Posts payments, adjustments and miscellaneous charges to both city and guest ledger accounts
• Performs all other duties as assigned by Regional Controller and Assistant Controller

Experience and Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 5+ years’ experience required
• Hotel experience preferred
• 1 year of Microsoft Excel
• Must speak English
