The Pink Shell Beach Resort has an opening for a Marketing Coordinator within our Marketing Department. In this role you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract and promote our company brand. Your goal will be to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.  This is a full time opportunity working Tuesday through Saturday with flexible hours ranging between 8:30 AM and 5 PM. 

What else can you expect?

• Assist in managing day-to-day activities for social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
• Prepare content creation with engaging text, image, video and live video
• Ensure optimal customer service with timely responses to guests’ questions through direct messages, forums, and posts
• Participate in media related topics and conversations to build brand visibility
• Monitor company website for updates and changes
• Prepare various documents, letters and presentations
• Assist in designing posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new promotions
• Create monthly reports and gathers statistics from social media outlets
• Assist in developing an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
• Produce graphic design for resort branded ads and flyers as needed
• Report trends and feedback from guests within online reviews
• Conduct research on preferable audiences and current trends

What you need to apply:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 2+ years experience as a social media or marketing coordinator
• Valid drivers licenses
