Pink Shell is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Engineering. The main responsibilities of this role are to administer, direct, and control the operation of the Engineering department.

What are we looking for?

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience
• 5+ years of all commercial phase electrical systems
• 5+ years experience in a hospitality environment
• Be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical blueprints
• Be operationally knowledgeable of all life safety systems
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

What would my job responsibilities be?

• Hires, trains and directs all department personnel
• Steers Safety Committee for the property
• Enforces hotel and company policies and procedures
• Participates and contributes to monthly department meetings
• Maintains all resort emergency systems and standards
• Ensures all federal, state, and local law codes are met within the resort
• Solicits and administers all sub-contract work
• Produces annual operating budget for payroll, expense, utilities and capital improvements
• Establishes and maintains adequate inventory of parts, supplies, tools and materials for maintenance of resort
• Maintains the resort and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensures preventive and corrective maintenance are performed  in all areas of resort
• Assures all guest-facing maintenance projects are prioritized and completed in an efficient and timely manner
• Performs all other duties as assigned
