The Pink Shell Beach Resort and Marina is currently seeking Full-Time Room Attendants/Housekeepers.

Position Overview
The room attendant will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms on a level that meets or exceeds company standards. Hours for this position are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and you will need flexible availability to include some weekends and holidays. At the Pink Shell Resort and Marina we make our guests feel like family by providing a fun and memorable beach escape with unmatched attention to detail. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Stocks cart to ensure that enough linen items, equipment and amenities are available to properly clean each room.
  • Observes knocking procedures upon entering a guest room.
  • Cleans the guest rooms assigned in allotted time frame.
  • Reports clean rooms to Dispatcher/Inspector for inspection.
  • Reports any damages or hazards that are present in guest rooms, i.e., burned out light bulbs, broken furniture, broken lights, etc.
  • Secures guest room doors upon exiting the room.
  • Keeps the corridors and service area neat at all times.
  • Turns in all lost and found items to Dispatchers
  • Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
  • Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience in housekeeping preferred
  • Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
  • Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services.
