Position Overview
Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina is looking for a Gift Shop Agent to join our enthusiastic team. As a Gift Shop Agent, will be responsible for sales at Audrey’s gift shop. From snacks to souvenirs, Audrey’s at Pink Shell Resort has guests covered. We carry everything from an assortment of essential grocery items to fun beach toys. This position pays $12 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle all cash, credit card, room charges sales transactions accurately
• Complete and verify daily deposits.
• Open and/or close the shop, while completing appropriate paperwork
• Restock and organize shelves after merchandise is sold
• Check in and record all new merchandise
• Participate in daily housekeeping to ensure that shop is always clean
• Complete necessary stock counts and participate in monthly physical inventory.

Requirements

• Use arithmetic to check and total orders and count inventory
• Talk to associates, vendors and guests to give instructions, answer questions and provide the service required
• Must have a hospitality-oriented personality
• Must be willing to lift and carry heavy boxes
• Mornings, evenings, weekends and holiday availability
