Description

The Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the in-house details for large group and convention bookings at the Pink Shell Resort and Marina. You will support and assist the Sales and Marketing Team as well as the Food & Beverage Director in various tasks.

What you can expect:

  • Coordinate group business as developed by the sales manager by contacting and appropriately following up on all signed/contracted business
  • Monitor and oversee client event budgets and details to maximize revenues and minimize expenses Work with the banquet and banquet kitchen departments to ensure timely deliverance and execution of the event
  • Enter updated group room pickup in Delphi software
  • Develop customer profiles and maintain an effective trace system including trace dates and references
  • Ensure client files are up to date, accurate and organized
  • Distribute contracts and proposals, group resumes, billing and intro packets for managers
  • Access SMS Host to obtain or establish folio numbers for BEO’s and run rooming lists
  • Assist the Sales Managers with the execution of social events and weddings on property as requested by the manager or customer needs

What you need to apply:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of sales and food & beverage experience; or equivalent of education
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
  • Experience with Delphi & HOST software preferred
  • Personal & Interpersonal Skills
