The Pink Shell Beach Resort is now hiring a Receiving Clerk in our Food and Beverage Department. In this role you will complete the purchasing functions for the resort. This will involve maintaining inventories, working with vendors, receiving goods and securing safe storage for products.

What else can you expect?

• Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs
• Assist with inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs
• Notify manager of low stock levels
• Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs
• Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy
• Receive, unload, and process deliveries
• Knowledgeable of fresh and frozen food criteria for acceptance of goods
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
• Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return process
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas
• Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors and delivery personnel
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

What do you need?

• Foodservice background and ServSafe Certified preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
