Our Restaurant Management team is growing here at Pink Shell Beach Resort! We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to help create unforgettable food experiences for our guests while leading a team that runs on passion and dedication.

What are we looking for?

  • High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • 1 year required in resort or fine dining experience
  • Three (3) years restaurant leadership experience required, preferably in a high-volume restaurant setting
  • Previous supervisor experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods; frequently bend, kneel, and lift close to 30 pounds
  • Ability to travel to other restaurants in the Resort, offices, and work outside 90% of the time as needed
  • Meet our required open availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

What would my job responsibilities be?

  • Trains all associates in the restaurant on how to perform their job duties ·
  • Schedules, evaluates and directs all staff
  • Ensures open communication between management and associates
  • Participates in weekly, monthly department meetings and M.O.D program
  • Assures prompt and professional service to all customers
  • Solicits feedback from guests concerning food, beverages, service and improvement ideas
  • Ensures proper handling of all equipment
  • Advises Food and Beverage director of daily problems and needs
  • Utilizes all available resources to maximize profits, develop quality service and reduce cost
  • Ensures all paperwork needed by other departments is provided
  • Maintains profitability of outlet to support overall hotel operation
  • Controls payroll and equipment costs (minimizing loss and misuse).
  • Ensures par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering and retrieving supplies and stocking shelves
  • Interviews potential applicants when needed
  • Completes personnel paperwork, all restaurant reviews, hires, job transfers, warning notices, counseling sessions and terminations
  • Evaluates staff performance on a ninety (90) day and annual basis in a timely manner
  • Conducts self to reflect the high standards of professionalism within the Boykin Management Company organization
  • Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules
  • Performs other duties as assigned
