Position Overview
 

Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina is looking for a motivated and experienced Bartender who shares a passion for providing excellent customer service to join our enthusiastic team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and serves correctly to customers directly or through serving staff. This position pays $6.23 per hour plus tips from guests. Experienced Bartenders have the potential to make up to $1,300 per week. This is a great opportunity if you like to work outdoors with a gorgeous view of the gulf. The Bartender will be serving our guests on our pool deck.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers and presents beverage menus in a prompt and professional manner
• Provide recommendations and answers all related inquiries
• Ensure identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age
• Receive orders from serving staff or directly from customers
• Record all orders Aloha system correctly
• Balance the bank at the start and close of each shift
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes
• Mix and prepare fruits for garnishing drinks
• Serve food and beverage to customers seated at the bar
• Maintain and report equipment problems as needed
• Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
• Monitor inventory
• Clear and reset tables in bar areas
• Perform side work during shift as well as at the start and end of each shift

Requirements

• A minimum of three years’ work experience as a Bartender preferably in a resort, hotel, or fine dining restaurant environment
• TIPS certified with 15 days of employment
• Must maintain a well-groomed and polished look
• Must be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for longs period of time
• Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
• Must have a flexible schedule including weekend and holidays
