Position Overview

Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina seeks a full-time Reservation Sales Agent to join our dynamic team. The Reservation Sales Agent will be responsible for booking reservations at this resort in addition to its two sister properties: The Sandpiper Gulf Resort and The Plaza Resort and Spa. This position pays $13 per hour plus performance-based commission, and there are no cold callings.

We offer the ability to work from home or on-site. There’s a mandatory 90-day training at our resort in Fort Myers Beach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Use our reservation system to assist callers with making reservations and answering questions promptly
• Prepare reservation folios for future arrivals
• Maintain working knowledge of property locations, amenities, and local area attractions for each hotel in the BMC portfolio
• Maintain working knowledge of rates and promotional packages
• Maximize conversion and revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction by applying reservation sales training skills to each call
• Provide an exemplary, friendly, professional, enthusiastic, conversational and helpful attitude that shows the desire and commitment to providing an outstanding and memorable experience for all our guests
• Interact with the Sales Department and the Front Desk to determine goals
• Follow all policies regarding booking rules and restrictions

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience working as Front Desk Agent, Call Center, or similar job preferred
• Ability to cross-sell from one property to another
• Must have exceptional oral and written communications skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all time
• Must be proficient with computers and can perform data entry in various systems and surf the internet.
• Must have open availability to work AM, PM shifts, weekends, holidays, etc.
