Join our Team! Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina is looking for Bussers and Food Runners to join our enthusiastic team. This is a great opportunity if you like to work outdoors and indoors with a gorgeous view of the gulf! Bussers and Food Runners assist their fellow coworkers to ensure a smooth day of service. Our Bussers and Food Runners create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure dining areas are clean, free from trash and debris, and tables are set up properly. Bussers and Food Runners will be serving our guests on our pool deck, indoor dining areas as well as our room service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promptly and professionally greets guests with a smile, calling them by name whenever possible. 
• Pours coffee and non-alcoholic beverages when requested.
• Set-up tables before opening.
• Stocks and maintains service stations with the proper supplies before, during, and after each shift.
• Promptly clears and resets used tables.
• Removes dirty stock to dish area and breakdown trays.
• Assists servers in the delivery of orders and pre-busing tables.
• Set up and breakdown of daily breakfast buffet.
• Assures floor surfaces are free of debris during and after each shift.
• Assists in the general cleaning and maintenance of the restaurant.
• Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
• Declares tips according to the IRS standards.
• Assist or work in Room Service as business needs dictate.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a resort, hotel, or fine dining restaurant environment preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, or pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
• Must have a flexible schedule including weekend and holidays
