A true beachfront getaway, Pink Shell sits on an expansive 12 acres on Fort Myers Beach overlooking both sides of the island. Pay: $12 per hour

Our Hosts and Hostesses are responsible for greeting guests and seating them at an appropriate table before they are introduced to their server. Also, they perform a variety of other tasks within a restaurant establishment which may include ringing up orders, refilling beverages, setting tables, and cleaning serving areas and all other functions to make our team successful. Hosts and Hostesses will be serving our guests on our pool deck as well as in our indoor dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door
• Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
• Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
• Seat guests and take initial drink orders as needed to ensure ideal speed of service
• Introduce guests to their servers
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
• Ensure knowledge with food and beverage menu
• Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for wait staff
• Answer phones and schedules reservations for large parties

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a resort, hotel, or fine dining restaurant environment
• Must maintain a well-groomed and polished look
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30+ pounds
• Must be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for longs period of time
• Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
• Must have a flexible schedule including weekend and holidays
