The Sous Chef is an integral contributor to a culinary team known for creating unforgettable food experiences for our guests while leading a team that runs on passion and dedication. This role directs, manages and inspires the kitchen staff serving three beach-side restaurants and the banquet operations generating over $7M in sales. What are we looking for?

  • 2+ years of experience as Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
  • Or Culinary Degree + 5 years culinary experience


What would my job and responsibilities be?

  • Inspire and oversee the food preparation and cooking process.
  • Recruit and train kitchen employees to leverage individual talents.
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments to order materials, supplies, and ingredients based on demand.
  • Supervise kitchen employees and organize food orders.
  • Ensure highest quality of ingredients are served.
  • Work with the restaurant manager to price and change menu items.
  • Schedule work shifts for employees.
  • Store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly cost reports.
