Position Overview
Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina is seeking experienced servers to join our enthusiastic team! This position pays $5.44 per hour plus tips from guests. Experienced servers have the potential to make up to $1,000 per week. This is a great opportunity if you like to work outdoors and indoors with a gorgeous view of the gulf. Servers will be serving our guests on our sun-drenched beach and pool deck as well as in our indoor dining areas.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests in a timely manner
• Inform guests of special menu items
• Serve food and beverage in a timely manner
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift
• Prepare room for dining by clothing and setting condiments
• Ensure proper sanitation and table cleanliness
• Help and direct patrons by presenting food and beverage menu
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen
• Record guest meal and drink sections accurately
• Provide bill to guest and collects payment through Point of Sale system
• Fold silverware to keep up with guests’ demands

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years’ work experience as a server preferably in a resort, hotel, or fine dining restaurant environment
• Must maintain a well-groomed and polished look
• Must be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for longs period of time
• Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
• Must have a flexible schedule including weekend and holidays
