Restaurant Manager
 

The Merrill Hotel and Conference Center is currently seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager in Muscatine, Iowa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise all restaurant personnel demonstrating high leadership skills and exemplary actions
• Conduct monthly department meetings
• Work with Chef and product management as needed
• Resolve guest issues quickly, efficiently and courteously
• Develop and execute projects including identifying the necessary tasks and deadlines, assigning them to appropriate people and following up as needed
• All other duties assigned

The right candidate will have:

• A minimum of one year experience as a restaurant manager in an upscale dining facility
• An understanding of basic restaurant business principles
• Extensive knowledge of food serving, order taking, upselling, table settings, and sanitation
• Experience with hotel reservation and revenue management systems
