Housekeeping Supervisor 

The Hilton Garden Inn is now hiring a full time Housekeeping Supervisor in Mayfield Village, Ohio.
 

Besides maintaining our mission by adhering to our values, you will be expected to assist the Executive Housekeeper with department operations, ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of the guest rooms, public areas, linen closets, and laundry areas in a cost‐effective manner.
 

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Supervise all department personnel 
• Provide clear direction in assigning and instructing housekeeping and laundry staff in details of work
• Provide staffing, training, counseling, and performance reviews for housekeeping department.
• Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards set by hotel
• Recruiting and hiring of all new department personnel
• Product management; inventorying and purchasing
• Expense management
• Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Meetings
• Execute Start and End of Day procedures
• Monitor and enforce proper and safe use of chemicals and supplies.
• Monitor and enforce proper equipment operation
• Direct department training programs including: Orientation, New Hire Training, Certifications, ongoing training, and Performance Evaluations.
• Perform essential housekeeping duties and responsibilities which includes:
  • Clean and inspect guest rooms and public spaces
  • Complete laundry shifts
  • Develop and execute projects including identifying the necessary tasks and deadlines, assigning them to appropriate people, and following‐up as needed to ensure effective and timely completion.
  • Provide security for guests, employees, and property adhering to security procedures for guest room keys and master keys.
  • Reporting any suspicious activity to management
  • Performs all other duties assigned
