SLO Safe Ride (Nosebeard Enterprises, LLC) is seeking Motorcoach/Shuttle Bus Operators to join our team at our San Luis Obispo, CA location! SLO Safe Ride is a small business based out of San Luis Obispo, CA. Starting Pay:
- SPAB Motorcoach Operator - $35/$30 per hr.
- Motorcoach Operator - $33/$30 per hr.
- Retail Charter Motorcoach Operator - $23/$21 per hr. + gratuity
- Retail Charter Non-Motorcoach Operator - $22/$20 per hr. + gratuity
- Shuttle Bus Operator - $27/$25 per hr.

Job Responsibilities:
- Drive a motorcoach, bus, and other company vehicles safely, efficiently, and courteously on all public highways and private property as directed.
- Arrive at pick up locations at assigned times
- Treat all passengers, company personnel, and other individuals associated with their assigned work in a friendly and professional manner.
- Know and apply both safe driving techniques and the requirements, limitations, and provisions of the DOT regulations.
- Communicate bus rules, safety, and behavior requirements to passengers; and address improper behavior immediately in a professional manner.
- Complete all required paperwork legibly, neatly, and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a driving record free of all major traffic citations, including no major "at fault" vehicle accidents.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience – required
- SPAB certification is a plus but not required
- Commercial Class A or B CDL WITH Passenger endorsement and Airbrakes endorsement- required
- Interstate CDL - required
- Valid Driver’s License – required
- DOT Medical – required
- Proof of legal status
- No more than 1 moving violation and/or preventable accident in the last 36 months
- No suspension for moving violation
- No drug or alcohol convictions
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and agree to FMCSA regulated policy that includes random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing
- Must pass an extensive driving test
- Furnish a current copy, not more than 2 days old, of a driver’s license record furnished by the state issuing the driver’s license
- Ability to load and unload heavy suitcases from the coach baggage bays of up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
