Student Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

 

Galvin Therapy Center is a well-established and growing multidisciplinary outpatient therapy center in Northeast Ohio. We are currently seeking both full-time Student Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to join our team. This position is in Avon and Warrensville Heights, OH.

This person will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to facilitate behavior programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, while also recognizing how each client’s individual development impacts the therapeutic process.

Pay: Starting at $22/hr; based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care in a 1:1 and/or group setting, utilizing a combination of the Early Start Denver Model, Natural Environment Training, Pivotal Response, Verbal Behavior and other methods
  • Utilize appropriate handling procedures when working with clients
  • Collect, record and summarize data on observable client behavior, maintaining client confidentially
  • Collaborate with members of the treatment team
  • Effectively communicate with parents, team members and supervisors regarding progress
  • Assist with parent/caregiver training
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education/special education, speech pathology, occupational therapy, or a related field preferred
  • Must be enrolled in an ABA Master’s program
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be able to pass a background check
