Manufacturing Engineer

AML3D is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled full-time Manufacturing Engineer with a background in manufacturing, machining and/or welding experience to join our dynamic, rapidly growing company in Twinsburg, Ohio. You will serve as the engineer to convert customer drawings, specifications and/or concepts into detailed manufacturing plans that result in the production of a quality product for our customers.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Regular US travel required periodically

The right candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Manufacturing Engineering, Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees are a plus
  • Substantial manufacturing experience along with a strong understanding of machining, welding, metallurgy, and inspection technologies
  • Proficiency in CAD software and relevant simulation tools
  • Proven track record in converting customer requirements into manufacturing plans that produce quality and compliant products with experience in the additive manufacturing industry a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex manufacturing and weldingrelated information clearly
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people
  • Works co-operatively with others to be part of a team, as opposed to working separately or competitively

Our Manufacturing Engineer will:

  • Work closely with US-based customers and the sales team to deeply understand the manufacturing requirements and challenges, proposing tailored solutions using our parts production services and ARCEMY® systems
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to customize product offerings and configurations, ensuring they align with the specific needs of the client
  • Utilize your manufacturing, machining, non-destructive testing and/or welding experience to effectively create and execute a manufacturing plan that can be cost effectively executed and meet all customer requirements and expectations
  • Support the sales team in preparing detailed technical proposals and documentation, outlining manufacturing parameters, welding considerations, metallurgical aspects, and integration plans
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the ARCEMY® systems, including our proprietary software stack (comprised of WAMSoft® and AMLSoft®)
  • Contribute your manufacturing, machining and welding expertise to the creation of technical materials such as whitepapers, case studies, and guides, enhancing the exposure and adoption of the company’s technology
