Line Cook

Aurora Inn is currently seeking Line Cooks in Aurora, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently cooking meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking. You might also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.

Requirements:

• The ability to stand for long periods of time
• The capability to follow recipes and plate specifications
• two years of cooking experience preferred
• The willingness to help in other areas including dishwashing, cleaning, and event service

Schedule: Part-time with full time and overtime potential. Schedule that might include mornings, weekends, late nights, holidays.

Pay: Starts at $12.00-$18.00/hour, depending on experience
