Here at Control Bionics, we are looking for a motivated Product Manager to join our team in Milford, Ohio to help us continue developing accessible, leading-edge AAC devices that can help those living with paralysis and loss of speech gain more control over their world. This Product Manager role is pivotal in linking our customers with our technology and requires the individual to translate customer needs with the product development team (hardware and software) to ensure we continue to deliver products and services that are fit for purpose.

Schedule:

- Our office hours are 8:30am to 6:00pm
The right candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Product Management, Project Management, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a product management position
- Excellent organizational and execution skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects demands within established timelines and budgets
- Understanding of medical DME development/deployment processes, especially for computer-controlled and patient-connected devices
- Complete a background check, and drug testing as required
- Understanding that the business operates in multiple geographies, and therefore will require out of traditional business hours commitment
- Required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects and regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds
Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Maximizes the value of the product and the work of the development teams by understanding the business goals and objectives, client, and customer needs
- Facilitating communication and collaboration between the development teams and the product stakeholders
- Leads the development effort by conveying product vision to the team and outlining work in the product
- Responsible for keeping internal and external stakeholders apprised of the status of their ideas and feedback and be available to answer questions as needed
- Work closely with the training, sales, and implementation team to ensure that feedback about product usability/ design is incorporated into implementation for business success
This role requires the individual to have a true ‘sleeves rolled-up’ attitude. The business is small but with big aspirations. The individual will need to be a self-starter able to work across multiple teams in multiple geographies. Able to take an idea from incubation through to execution, often without other resource (at least initially) to establish the merit of the strategy.
