Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares Production Room for blends per schedule
• Daily food processing, metal detection, packaging, pallet building to meet quality standards and customer need-by dates as assigned
• Forklift proficiency and operation – WE TRAIN!!!
• Follow all safety and food safety rules within the organization
• Ability to work overtime, second shift, or weekends if required by production/customer requirement schedule
• Read, interpret and complete batch sheets

Requirements:

• Ability to follow and give directions
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Good and timely attendance
• Ability to perform accurate weigh outs, understand and accurately perform math percentages, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication as it relates to production
• Compliance with GMP’s as they relate to safety, quality and cleanliness
• Safely lift and move at least 50-110 pounds
• Safely able to push/pull 2000 pounds with a pallet jack
• Strong teamwork skills

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Preferred one - three years’ experience in food processing or any manufacturing facility
