Egbers Land Design is a seeking a full time Foreman to join our team in Florence, KY!

We are a full-service design and build firm, specializing in outdoor living. Our Foreman is responsible for overseeing the overall implementation and completion of hardscape and landscape projects for residential customers, as well as managing all aspects of customer relationships and production crew.

We offer: PTO and Paid Holidays

Pay: $25 to $30 an hour, based on experience.

Hours: Monday through Friday

Foreman Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production work for general landscaping, paver patios, retaining walls, concrete work and cultured stone
• Operate a variety of hardscape and landscape equipment including but not limited to, Bobcats, Dingers, Trenchers, concrete buggies, concrete saws, chainsaws and other equipment require to complete the work order
• Delegate work to the production crew daily
• Provide training to new hires and other skills needed to complete landscape and hardscape jobs
• Inspect the quality of work to ensure that work orders are completed to specification
• Make sure that tools and materials are available to safely and efficiently complete the assigned project; notify the Vice President if equipment is not functional
• Work directly with the President to ensure that the scope of work is clear, material has been ordered per job specifications, and order discrepancies have been resolved
• Notify the President of any employee issues and/or customer complaints, or if the scope of work changes per the customer’s request
• Track and approve time-sheets and purchase receipts for the production crew; submit paperwork to the Office Manager daily

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience working in a construction, landscape or hardscape environment
• 1-2 years of project management experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
