Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and develop coating formulas
- Support scale-up activities and production
- Develop company procedures and work instructions
- Perform corrosion testing
- Maintain detailed project records and translate data into clear, well-written technical reports
- Test new products and develop quality standards
- Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Promote safety awareness by ensuring adherence to standards, company policies and federal state and local requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned and required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Chemistry – preferred
- 3+ years of experience with epoxy coating formulation- required
- Knowledgeable of coatings additives and latest technologies
- Must understand coating chemistry/crosslinking reactions and curing mechanisms
