Tesla NanoCoatings, Inc is currently seeking an experienced Coatings Formulation Chemist to join our outstanding Innovation Team in Massillon, OH. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with experience in epoxy coatings formulation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and develop coating formulas
• Support scale-up activities and production
• Develop company procedures and work instructions
• Perform corrosion testing
• Maintain detailed project records and translate data into clear, well-written technical reports
• Test new products and develop quality standards
• Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Promote safety awareness by ensuring adherence to standards, company policies and federal state and local requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned and required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Chemistry – preferred
• 3+ years of experience with epoxy coating formulation- required
• Knowledgeable of coatings additives and latest technologies
• Must understand coating chemistry/crosslinking reactions and curing mechanisms
