We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team and help uphold our commitment to quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality standards of our cannabis products throughout the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing tests, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality assurance practices, and a passion for the cannabis industry.

  • Assist in monthly GMP/Sanitation Inspections
  • Daily hygiene and sanitation checks
  • Perform glass and brittle checks and clearances
  • Perform ATP, and other micro swabbing
  • Equipment clearance
  • Perform quality checks on incoming materials
  • Sampling of raw materials
  • Place raw materials and packaging materials on hold until final QA release
  • Active member of the HACCP and Food Safety Teams
  • Initiate and conduct Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) investigations
  • Perform mock recalls and other traceability exercises
  • Perform other duties as needed and requested by the Director of Regulatory

 

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in the cannabis or food manufacturing industry preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP, or state cannabis regulations). Preferred but not required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
