Locally owned and operated Ullman Energy Solutions is searching for an experienced full-time Lead Diesel Technician to join their team in Chagrin Falls, Ohio!

PAY RANGE

  • $30–$40 p/hr. Dependent on numerous factors including but not limited to experience, safety…etc.

LEAD DIESEL TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:

** Whether you're looking for your first job in school have some vehicle repair experience or are looking to switch gears, becoming an Ullman Oil Technician may be a great fit for you**

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude in diesel repair experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Tanker Experience Preferred
  • The associate must be able to perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and all Ullman Oil safety and maintenance policies; including but not limited to the correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practice.
  • Willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location required
  • Willing and able to complete and pass criminal checks, past employment, and education checks, the ability to pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation, and potential travel within near geography for training are required

LEAD DIESEL TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our Team
  • Using tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
  • Doing preventative maintenance repairs-like replacing or rotating tires-and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on diesel engine vehicles
  • Partnering with your manager to learn new skills using technician training and hands-on coaching

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety-sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner is required.
