Line Cook

Aurora Inn is currently seeking Line Cooks in Aurora, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently cooking meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking. You might also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.

Schedule: This is a part-time position with full-time and overtime potential. Includes mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Pay: Starting rate is $13.00/hour

Requirements:

• The ability to stand for long periods of time
• The ability to follow recipes and plate specifications
• Two years of cooking experience preferred
• The willingness to help in other areas including; dishwashing, cleaning, and event service
