AllSource Construction Specialties located in Indianapolis, IN is looking for a full-time Assistant Estimator. We are looking for a motivated, sales-minded personality who enjoys building new customer relationships and client relations! We are a Division 10 Specialties material supplier and installer representing major manufacturers that specializes in commercial and multi-family residential construction. We work in the greater Indianapolis area and throughout the Midwest region.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares estimating hand-off documents assisting in the seamless transition of projects from the Estimating to Project Management teams
• Assists Estimating Manager in selecting projects to bid; Assesses lead tracker spreadsheet and follows up with general contractors to get on bid lists
• Assists in bidding and sales activities including coordinating take-offs and pricing, setting sales margins with Estimating Manager, submitting and tracking bids, and generating quote comparisons
• Assists in establishing and coordinating bidding schedule
• Reviews awarded contracts for scope and dollars
• Sources new products when needed for job quotes

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in estimating, proposals, project execution or business development
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, and project management software or programs
• Knowledge of Division 10 construction specialties products beneficial, but not required
• Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and on a team
