Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial profit and loss statements to help guide strategic decisions.
  • Ensure meticulous data entry and management within our accounting software.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist with audits as needed.
  • Work closely with various departments to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and efficiency.
  • Ensure timely compliance with all regulatory requirements and filings such as federal, state and local tax, annual reports, etc.

 

Qualifications

  • B.S. / B.A. in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar discipline required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with privately-held, fast growing companies.
  • Demonstrated self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Significant experience managing accounting operations and financial reporting.
  • Experience in managing human resources for a growing, private business.
  • Proven record of strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid process improvement skills and able to leverage technology.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and enjoys working directly with clients, vendors and employees
  • Strong work ethic including managing multiple projects at a time.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail is a must.
