Executive Assistant
Environmental Health Watch is currently seeking a full-time Executive Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Director, Program Manager and staff in executing the ramp-up and maintenance of the Lead Safe Certificate system, the foundational policy of the bold, and the systemic shift towards improving Cleveland’s housing stock and prevention of lead poisoning.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate executive communications including taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with clients, staff, partners and coalition
- Schedule meetings, appointments, travel arrangements and itineraries
- Assist with meetings, events and fundraisers
- Maintain the organization of the office
- Order supplies as needed
- Collect data and prepare timely reports as needed
- Attend necessary LSCC committee meetings and funder meetings
- Respond to media, community requests
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience working with diverse populations, stakeholders and multi-sector partnerships
- Excellent data analysis and writing skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office applications including word, excel, outlook

Hours: Monday-Friday. Some evenings and weekends required
Pay: $35,000-40,000/year, depending on experience

Environmental Health Watch serves as the Administrator for the Lead Safe Cleveland Resource Center, the execution arm of the Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition, an inclusive, public-private partnership founded to address lead poisoning through a comprehensive, preventive, and long-term approach. This approach protects Cleveland’s children by merging smart, adaptable public policies; knowledgeable agencies willing to collaborate; proven community programs and leaders; and public and private sector accountability.
