Executive Assistant

Environmental Health Watch is currently seeking a full-time Executive Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Director, Program Manager and staff in executing the ramp-up and maintenance of the Lead Safe Certificate system, the foundational policy of the bold, and the systemic shift towards improving Cleveland’s housing stock and prevention of lead poisoning. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate executive communications including taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with clients, staff, partners and coalition
• Schedule meetings, appointments, travel arrangements and itineraries
• Assist with meetings, events and fundraisers
• Maintain the organization of the office
• Order supplies as needed
• Collect data and prepare timely reports as needed
• Attend necessary LSCC committee meetings and funder meetings
• Respond to media, community requests

Requirements:

• 3 or more years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience working with diverse populations, stakeholders and multi-sector partnerships
• Excellent data analysis and writing skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft office applications including word, excel, outlook

Pay: $35,000-40,000/year, depending on experience

Environmental Health Watch serves as the Administrator for the Lead Safe Cleveland Resource Center, the execution arm of the Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition, an inclusive, public-private partnership founded to address lead poisoning through a comprehensive, preventive, and long-term approach. This approach protects Cleveland’s children by merging smart, adaptable public policies; knowledgeable agencies willing to collaborate; proven community programs and leaders; and public and private sector accountability.
