WM Commercial Roofing LLC is currently searching for a full-time Estimator to join their team in New Philadelphia, Ohio to continue providing 100% customer satisfaction by constructing the highest quality roof systems available. The Estimator ensures that the project estimates, roof surveys, and proposals are within the company guidelines for costs, accuracy, and presentation, are completed within a timely manner, on budget to ensure profitability, and the customer service is a top priority.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8 AM – 5 PM
• Must be able to travel 5% of the time.
• Overnight stays may be necessary.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 2 or more years of estimating experience in the roofing or construction industry preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to ascend and descend a ladder to assess the roof conditions.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction experience preferred.
• Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in personal computer skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
• Understands the industry or market in terms of key trends, operations, functions, business drivers and strategic directions.
• Build and maintain customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization.
• Ability to interact and present clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
• Great attention to detail, organization, and time management skills – ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize well to make sound investment decisions.

Estimator Responsibilities:

• Reviews initial roof survey(s) completed by Account Managers and/or Roof Inspectors
• Communicates with vendor(s) and supplier(s)
• Completes site visits to collect information for current and potential projects.
• Reviews and prepares proposed project bids.
• Completes all project documentation.
• Generates detailed cost estimates of potential commercial roofing projects.
• Visits worksites, inspects materials, and gathers related costs.
• Monitors progress of existing projects
• Communicates with subcontractors for proposals.
• Creates estimates and proposal letters for commercial new construction and replacement roofing projects.
• Build customer relationships that will assist in securing current and future deals.
• Maintains communication with customers and potential customers before, during, and after project completion.
• Completes roofing surveys and documents findings.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
