Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7 AM – 3:30 PM

 

The right candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; welding certifications or completion of an accredited welding program preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a pipe welder in an industrial, commercial, or construction environment.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, and arc welding.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Knowledge of various types of pipe materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain precision in welding and fabrication.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols related to welding and metalworking.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.

 

Our Pipe Welders will:

  • Weld metal pipes and components using various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and arc welding, based on project requirements.
  • Interpret blueprints, layouts, and engineering instructions to accurately cut, fit, and weld pipes and components.
  • Measure, cut, and shape pipes using power tools and hand tools to prepare for welding.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness, identifying and repairing any defects as necessary.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to ensure all welds meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment, performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of protective equipment and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other tradesmen, such as pipefitters, to ensure proper assembly and installation of piping systems.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure welding conforms to industry standards and project specifications.
  • Follow job-specific plans, schedules, and material lists to meet deadlines and project goals.
  • All other duties as assigned
