Hotel Sales Manager

The Hampton Inn is currently seeking a full-time Hotel Sales Manager in Stow, Ohio.

Pay: Dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

• Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through various efforts
• Aggressively pursue qualified outside sales calls on new contacts
• Develop and continually enhance relationships with key accounts to maintain and increase our market share
• Maintain accurate and legible records and files to provide historical data
• Maintain consistent and timely verbal and written communication with clients
• Assist in developing an annual sales and marketing plan
• Identify marketing strategy for each market segment
• Analyze historical, current and future hotel trends, and market trends
• Create selling strategies to capture the maximum amount of revenue to meet/exceed sales goals

Requirements:

• 3 or more years of past sales experience in a hotel setting
• Knowledge of hotel operations and competitive market
• Skills in Microsoft Word; Excel; Outlook; Internet; experience with hotel reservation and revenue management systems
