Description
The Plaza Resort and Spa is seeking a full time Maintenance Engineer to repair and maintain the appearance of the outside grounds and interior plants at our historical resort.

What can you expect?
  • Complete room calls as assigned
  • Complete all assigned work orders
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests utilizing Nuvola Software
  • Maintenance of pool and spa equipment
  • Change light bulbs, ballasts, switches and outlets
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance of guest rooms
  • Adjust televisions and A/V equipment
  • Repair doors, building hardware, vacuum cleaners, faucets, toilets and drains
  • Perform minor repairs and/or replacements of room furniture, fixtures and equipment
  • Maintain safe and clean work area
  • Replace air filters
  • Fill out daily engineering report
What do you need?
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to operate small hand tools such as drills, grinders, saws etc.
  • Understand basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry
  • Ability to lift and carry objects such as TV’s, boxes and ladders
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time as well as climb ladders and stairs
