Full Charge Bookkeeper
Company is currently seeking a bookkeeper to work a full time hourly position based at the home office located in Independence, OH. Duties and responsibilities involve basic accounting and bookkeeping.

Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient with QuickBooks.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, preferred.
  • At least 1 year in a similar role, preferred.
  • Computer literacy, including Excel, Word and web-based financial systems
  • Articulate oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize work and use time effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to organize information and current accounting systems such as QuickBooks


Responsibilities include:

  • Prepares monthly financial statements in conjunction with outside accountants.
  • Maintains the General Ledger.
  • Prepares reports and financial information upon request for management such as income and balance sheets.
  • Maintains digital and manual financial records
  • Prepares and monitors budgets in conjunction with Executive Staff and controls Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and related functions.
  • Assists other staff members and works in accounting related systems such as payroll.
  • Performs and oversees Billing operations.
  • Monitors and controls Outpatient Clinic billing and accounting related systems.
  • Oversees data entry for preparation of billing.
  • Ensures timely invoicing to client facilities.
  • Serves as point of contact with funding banks and ensures necessary information is prepared and communicated by deadlines.
  • Communicates and works with external accounting firms and auditors.
