Perks of working as a Human Resources Associate:

Monday -Friday 8am-5pm with No nights or weekends!

Typical day in the life as a Human Resources Associate:

  • Review, approve and move candidates through the HR Filebound system.
  • Compile and update documents for driver qualification files {DQF}.
  • Scan personnel files into the HR Filebound tracking system.
  • Department file maintenance, i.e., personnel and benefits file updates. 
  • Review, develop and update current job descriptions.
  • Update and track employee random drug testing list for multiple facilities.
  • Monitor and report drug test results from Medtox website.
  • Assist in processing of unemployment claims throughout multiple lay-off periods throughout the year.
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollment, leaves of absence and other related HR programs.
  • Help with tracking of FMLA absences.
  • Review, check and send new hire paperwork to payroll for multiple facilities.
  • Fingerprint candidates after interviews and update facility supervision with results.
  • Assist in interviewing candidates as needed by facility.
  • Assist in new hire orientation as needed by facility.
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

  • Associate degree in related field of study or equivalent HR experience.
  • Two years of experience coordinating HR related programs. 
  • Interpersonal, verbal, written communications, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Working knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act, and benefits programs.
  • Excellent mathematical and computer skills, e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
  •  Ability to work in a team environment, under pressure, meet deadlines and handle a diverse workload.
  • Ability to research HR related topics and provide problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
