District Property Manager

 

Sundance Property Management is seeking a full time District Property Manager to join our team in the Cincinnati, OH/Northern KY area!

District Property Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the activities of the team; manages, trains and coaches individual employees while guiding them to reach their potential and providing constructive feedback for employee development
  • Drives the profitability of the district by using market knowledge and analysis to drive rental growth; maintains elevated levels of occupancy; mitigates expenses for vendor negotiation and accountability and minimizes the turn cycle time.
  • Reviews monthly financials to ensure adherence to monthly budget; makes recommendations to regional management and assists in implementation of new processes.
  • Manages daily property activities in such a manner to win and maintain the respect and goodwill of all residents through exceptional customer service.
  • Identifies potential repairs or capital projects; confirms quality curb appeal meets standards set by corporate; identifies actual or potential risk management issues.
  • Develops property managers by providing clear, motivating, and constructive performance feedback in a timely manner.
  • Complies and enforces all applicable fair housing policies, health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws by maintaining proficient knowledge of all applicable rules, laws, and regulations.
  • Assures OSHA and other safety procedures are implemented; ensures the team is educated as needed regarding safety precautions, including routine safety meetings.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License required, CAM Designation (preferred)
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, payroll systems and property management software
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours/days including weekends if necessary
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must have exceptional customer service, strong leadership and management skills
  • Have a positive attitude and keep a solution-based and customer-focused mindset always
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Focuses on resolving conflict and maintains confidentiality; Remain open to others' ideas and tries new things
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
